Details: Maintain collateral files for Santander owned loans and for those serviced by other institutions in the vault area of the Mortgage File Room. Provide consistent quality customer service to both internal and external customers that meet or exceed Santander standards. Responsible for proper filing of legal documents. Documents must be maintained in accordance with FNMA, FHLMC and other investor requirements. Retrieve legal documentation within a 24 hour period from notification that the loan has paid off. Respond to all documentation release requests within 48 hours. Provide originals to requestor. Responsible for the integrity of the tracking system used to record receipt and release of files. Create labels for files housed in the vault. Handle internal customer inquiries as appropriate; elevate inquiries to management as necessary. Store files & documents in the appropriate place to ensure easy accessibility when requests by internal customers. Obtain and provide files to these customers upon request. Responsible for the accurate identification and categorization of mortgage loan documents. Classify and associate documents with all systems of record within established metrics. Ensure documents are of sufficient quality for use as images. Image legal documents and servicing files for both vault and file room. Inspect imaged product for quality image and proper classification. Responsible for the accurate tracking and reporting of daily performance.
